CAUTION
Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.

Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Olmesar-M Tablet ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER is to be taken with food.
How Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER works
Olmesar-M 50 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines: Olmesartan and Metoprolol. Olmesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Stomach upset, Altered taste, Weakness, Dizziness, Headache, Cold extremities, Numbness of extremity, Increased potassium level in blood, Slow heart rate, Decreased blood pressure.
